First I'd like to say thank you to the volunteers and the execs and staff as well as patrons for coming to Otafest-Lite and making it a success!
So unfortunately for Otafest-Lite, the Vendor's room was down in the basement, with three rooms and nine vendors in total. These vendors being: Otaku Entertainment, Voodoo Baby, Words and Pics, Mega Zone, Reddskull, Phoenix South and North, Comic-Kazi and Anime Modelling. So the hallways go crowded, but we did our best to try and get everyone to squish closer to the walls, which alot of people didn't like me for, LOL.
It went great though, I think. The Vendors had a good time and the patrons had a good time as well as our Volunteers! It was awesome and I can't wait to see everyone in May!

I personally enjoy Valentine's day. I enjoy seeing everyone happy and spending time with their significant other.
I understand that people hate the holiday and think that it's a "Hallmark" and a "commercial" thing [But really isn't everything hallmark and commercial nowadays?] but I super love it. I know that people also think it's stupid because it's like saying that you can only be lovey dovey and go all out on that one day but I think it's more then that. It gives people a solid day where they can for sure forgo all plans with a valid reason so that they can spoil their significant other.
But hey, that may just be me.

Oh gosh, yesterday was a great day. So I decided to go to the Volunteer appreciation thing and it was a blast! Hung out with Rose and Allison for alot of it, same with Leigh. I haven't been to Prince's island park for the LONGEST time, so it was nice! It was a great day, actually, really hot but still nice.
After that I went to watch WALL-E. Dude...it's amazing, you ALL need to go watch it! It will be the best time of your life! It's so cute! I actually went with Nathan, Dustin and Christina---She's really nice though. =]
Anyways, I wasn't able to make it to Drake and Andrea's birthday party, since time was just not on my side that day. I saw them at the mall though and was able to give them my birthday card, so I hope they liked it!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY you two!
They looked very purdy! Haha.
Anyways after that I went to Milestone with Dustin and Nathan and then we went to my neighborhood and they long boarded while I walked. We sat and talked for a long time about animals...Haha.
So yeah it was a great day and I can't wait to hang with everyone again.

InuYasha is officially over! Yes, that's right kiddies; the great childhood obsession of mine has finally come to an end.
[SPOILERS]
3 days after the final battle, Kagome was sent back to her time and couldn't come back. Miroku and Sango got together and had kids, Kohaku's alright, Kaede is taking care of Rin. Koga's off somewhere...Haha. Kagome came back 3 years later, and yes, she was able to graduate and now lives there with InuYasha. They never actually say "I love you though" and that makes me angry.
[END OF SPOILERS]
Can you believe it?! I can't! I feel kind of...empty now...Lol. Oh well at least they ended up together. Way to be!
Anyways, school's over and I couldn't be happier. My science exam was brutal...Lol. I'm still quite sick but slowly getting better! Hmm...Rose's birthday gathering was yesterday, quite fun. We watched "The strangers" which, is freaking terrifying!
Earlier, I had alot I wanted to write about, alot I wanted to say but now there's nothing that comes to mind. I think maybe I just don't want to get into an angst fest. So I'll safe you all that crap and leave you with a pointless blog.

So Otafest was this weekend! It was AWESOME. I have to admit, it wasn't as fun or exciting as last year, but it was still pretty great. I didn't win Mrs. Otafest, but I did get quite a few votes =]
I have to say...I LOVED my cosplay, honest. Haha. I didn't take any pictures this year, but I'm sure something will pop up, I got pictures taken more then the last 3 years combined. I'm EPIC. Rofl, jokes.
I also entered "Fanfiction Creation" at Otafest and guess what?!
I WON BEST ROMANCE WRITER! Ack! I was SO happy! I submitted in:

Haha I edited them like 89367571257 times. I'm so excited though! Oh so what did I buy? Not much, I got a Pikachu plushy for Cody, a Manga for Rene, an L figurine for Wesley and 2 small Full Metal Alchemist key chains for Andrea. For myself I bought a Mokona watch, a Full Metal Alchemist key chain and a Voodoo doll. That's seriously it. The guys chipped in and bought me season One of InuYasha though! THANKS GUYS.
So yeah, it was pretty good, though I'm debating on cosplaying next year. And if I do...
NO HIGH HEELS.

So today I went to the Zoo with Casey, Cody, Danielle, Wesley, Rene, Stephen, Avrea and Andrea! It was the Shit. We walked around the Canadian wild for like, the whole time...Haha. It was really fun though, after that we went back to my place, ate, played Soul Calibur and then ate CAKE. I believe we should all hang out like that again.
So Avrea got me money, Casey got me this CUTE penguin hat, Cody got me this pretty necklace and Wesley got me this fucking Hello Kitty Phone! Holy shit, it's so cute, I have it right beside me right now too! I'll upload pictures on Facebook later~
So it was a really great day =]

So yesterday was My birthday! W00t, another year closer to DEATH. =]
Haha no it was pretty sweet, especially for a sweet sixteen. At first I went to the Gothic Lolita Meeting with Danielle E. So Ness dropped out, but I think I'll still stay, we'll just have to see. It was pretty good, we saw Amanda, Alexis's younger sister, who's a year older then me. She's freaking hilarious. So yeah, we hung out there and then Danielle and I just walked around for a while.
Then I went to the Volunteer meeting, saw Betsy there and hung around with her for a while. Then the volunteer crew went to dinner for my birthday, after much calling on Drake's end.
So there was...Dan Lawson, and his girlfriend; Megan, Bryden, Rose, Nathan, Vicky, Jim, Dave, Dustin, Drake and Andrea, and then a little while in, my brother.
Yeah it was sweet, my brother got me 2 Disney pins and 2 T-shirts. I had a really good time. After that we went to Nathan's house to play games./ Rock Band. One word: HILARIOUS.
You have not lived until you have heard Dan and Drake TRY to sing. It was the FUNNIEST shit I've ever witnessed in my life! Oh God I love them all.
So yeah we stayed until almost 2:30, then went home and didn't get to actual sleep until 4. Rofl, I'm going to the Zoo today for my Third Birthday party, so I'll be LJing it later, Bye~ |

Haha so today was Day one of my birthday trilogy! It was sweet, after school I went to Boston Pizza with Cassidy, Noelle, Taylor, Rose, Leah, Julie, Meaghan and Angie. It was awesome! I felt RIGHT at home. It felt really good =]
So it was freaking hilarious, Noelle and Cassidy just make my life. We found out that Noelle has that cute dimple because Ali once tripped her and she smashed her face into a desk, shattering her cheek bone. I told her she should smash the other one so she could have two dimples, her reply made my day.
"I was thinking of that, but I was scared they'd be uneven."
LMFAO. That was great.
Haha Rose had the FUNNIEST face EVER. I just loved it! We had a really great time and I hope to do it again. Those girls are just awesome.

Just came back from having a very light dunner at Timmy's. Haha, that's how we roll. It was nice though, I love my family, and I wish my brother could have been here to hang with us, but what can ya do? Anyways, had a great time!

Oh geez, I was going to blog when I got home yesterday but I was sidetrack with dinner with the Otafest gang and didn't get home until almost 11. I needed sleep so I could do well on my Physics test on the microscope and the plant cell! I got 10 out of 11! W00t! Thanks to Aaron, the Sun anime guy for helping me study while selling merchandise!
Hmm where to begin?
Oh, well I went early with my brother again and we walked around for a while before stopping at this booth for editing comics. We stood there for close to an hour, no lies, and it was so informative! I was very surprised by the depth of comic editing.
Anyways, after that we had lunch and then went our separate ways when Alexis and her cousin came up. So I decided to mozy on over to Nathan and see if he needed any help, after that I bumped into Andrea and Drake! It was pretty sweet.
We hung out for a good 2-3 hours? And of course I was stuck holding their stuff when they were asked for pictures, haha.
Oh I saw and took a picture with Kevin Sorbo! HOLYSHITWTFGTFO! I was very impressed. Haha.
I bought a HUGE Harry Potter doll thing for Jenny, for only $10 and I got a free wall scroll from Bryden since he wanted to get rid of it and I got a Pikachu mug from Aaron for helping!
After that Andrea and Drake had to go and I went over to Nathan again and helped him and Aaron with their booth. It was pretty sweet, after all that we had to pack up which took us well into an hour and then went to Dinner at Joey Tomatoes!
So it was awesome, had such a great weekend and can't wait to go to Otafest!

So we went to eat and then after that Myself, Taylor, Leah, Rose, Eric, Jeff, Joel and Brett [Who randomly stopped by.] went to Louis and sat on the playground. They all played Sociables, it was freaking hilarious! I was the only sober one for like, the whole night.

So yesterday I went to Chinatown with Avrea, Danielle, Cody, Wesley, Victor and Stephen.
We went to Phoenix Comics, I got vol. 7 of Beauty Pop and Avrea got a million books. Avrea, Danielle and Victor wanted to stay there and get Starbucks, but the rest of us didn't so we ditched them in favor of going back to Chinatown and leaving them by Sait.
We hung out for a bit before I had to go to meet my brother at the Train station to go to the Otafest volunteer meeting.
As I was walking I saw Andrea, Drake's Girlfriend And we started talking for a bit. We met my brother on the train and started talking to him too until she had to get off to go drop off some movies. So me and my brother went to the meeting and then after that we went to Nathan's house to play a bunch of video games. Which we saw Andrea again taking the train! Lol.
Anyways, these games consisted of...
Super Smash Bro. Brawl,
Street Fighter,
Soul Calibur II,
And N+.
My brother left half way through because he had to meet up with Alexis and I didn't want to study for Chem...Haha. So I stayed and we played N+ for the LONGEST TIME. IT is seriously, the shit.
So at about 1 am we went to Boston Pizza and Dan joined us, oh yeah, there was Nathan, Vicky, Dave, Jim, my Brother and myself. So we didn't get back until 2:15 ish and I decided I probably should go home, so we got my stuff and then Vicky drove me home. We sat in her car for a while talking about random High school stuff until about 3 Am. Then I decided I should probably go into my house...Lol.
So it was pretty sweet. That was actually a really good day, one of the best I've had in a LONG time. So yeah...Lol. |
